Access to various data formats
KMS allows MapInfo Professional® users to publish their workspaces (version 10.0 and older) in their original format and without any loss of data. Moreover, external data sources can be directly integrated to your maps in KMS, whether as database connections, WMS 1.3 server connections, Shapefiles or text files.

Database connectivity
KMS can access most common databases, such as Oracle (9i, 10g), SQL Server 2008, My SQL 5.1, Postgre SQL 8.4, or any other database accessible through a JDBC driver. KMS also supports spatial components from Oracle, SQLServer and Postgre. SQL language is supported for any query related to layer definition in order to get the most out of the information in your databases.
