Sales Account Executive


Korem is currently seeking Sales Account Executives for PBS (MapInfo) Enterprise Solutions.

Territory: US and western Canada (including Toronto). Possibility of working from home.

Korem is a Value Added Reseller (VAR) and Systems Integrator (SI) focusing on enterprise level geospatial solutions. The Sales Account Executive positions’ primary purpose is to generate revenue by selling Pitney Bowes Software (PBS, fka MapInfo) geospatial solutions as well as Korem services to new and existing clientele through direct sales activities.

The Sales Account Executive is expected to consistently meet or exceed aggressive quarterly and annual revenue quotas.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, attending industry trade shows, providing product demonstrations, working leads from vendor’s and Korem’s direct mail campaigns and other marketing activities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed and updated opportunity matrixes for each target account to ensure that the appropriate sales support resources can be available and to assist in the preparation of accurate and timely sales forecasts.
  • Work and maintain the pipeline to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
  • Maximize sales and services revenue from each account and sales opportunity through recognition of client’s broader needs that PBS or related products can fulfill.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and customer relationships to understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationship with clientele.
  • Work with technical sales, professional services, and marketing to develop custom presentations designed to demonstrate the business value of PBS’s enterprise solutions.
  • Work with Korem business partners to help in all phases of the sales process.
  • Be available to travel in assigned territories

Education/Work Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years enterprise software sales experience with geospatial solutions.
  • Knowledge of and experience with PBS or related enterprise solutions.
  • Sales experience in major accounts with multi-divisional teams and C-level decision makers.

Specialized Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to indentify business solutions using the PBBI products to answer complex business problems.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Capable of developing productive relationships with customers, colleagues and management.
