Jonathan Houde and Marise Drapeau named Co-Presidents of Korem

Quebec City, Canada – July 8, 2026 – Sébastien Vachon, founder of Koremannounced today the designation of Jonathan Houde and Marise Drapeau as co-presidents of the company. This nomination marks a new phase in the succession plan, as Mr. Vachon gradually steps back from day-to-day operations to devote himself fully to his role as chairman of the board.

After more than three decades at the helm of Korem, he sought to establish a leadership structure that reflects the organization’s expertise and the evolution of its offerings. In a context where technological advances are rapidly transforming the industry, a co-presidency model will enable Korem to combine strategic vision, operational excellence, and the capacity for innovation.

Rather than entrusting leadership to a single person, Sébastien Vachon has chosen a model based on the complementary expertise of two leaders who have made decisive contributions to Korem’s evolution.

A structure designed to support the next phase of growth

Jonathan Houde now takes on the role of Co-President and Chief Solutions Officer, responsible for strategic vision and innovation of the offering. Marise Drapeau takes on the role of Co-President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for operational performance and organizational governance.

This division of responsibilities builds on the respective strengths of the two executives and reflects the maturity of Korem’s business model.

For Sébastien Vachon, this change is driven above all by a desire to ensure the company’s long-term sustainability by providing it with the best conditions to continue growing while maintaining a motivating work environment.

Leaders Deeply Rooted in Korem’s Culture

Jonathan Houde has been with Korem for over 20 years. He joined the company as a programmer-analyst and rose through the ranks to become Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Business Solutions. Over the years, he has expanded his influence far beyond technology, notably in supporting sales and the development of professional services.

Marise Drapeau has been with the organization for more than 12 years. She started as a financial controller and rose to the position of Vice President, Finance and Administration, where she played a key role in the company’s organizational transformation and in laying the groundwork for its growth and profitability.

“After 33 years at the helm of Korem, I am proud of everything we have accomplished together. Above all, I am grateful to the talented team that has helped make Korem what it is today. I am especially pleased to pass the torch to Jonathan and Marise, my longtime right-hand people. I have complete confidence in their ability to drive our continued growth and to support our clients and partners with the same commitment that is Korem’s strength. As the majority shareholder and chairman of the board, I look forward to supporting them in this new phase. ”

— Sébastien Vachon, Chairman of the Board and founder of Korem

This nomination is part of Korem’s commitment to continuing its mission: to create sustainable value for its clients, employees, and partners.
