EP30 – Uber Freight: Tackling Today’s Logistics Bottlenecks with Location Technology

Lior Ron is the head of Uber Freight, the logistics support app that works to help carriers and shippers with real-time freight management to book and track primarily long haul loads and reduce time wasted waiting for the next load. Lior and Joe connected around 2007 when he was the Product Lead for Google Maps. He’s worked for Motorola Mobility, but is best known for co-founding, Otto, the company behind self-driving trucks that was acquired by Uber for $600 million in 2016. Lior was well ahead of the curve in understanding the power of location intelligence, so you won’t want to miss this episode of On Point with Korem.
